My ideas for our final task;

I have been thinking of some ideas for mine and Hannah's final task, for the setting of the final task I thought it should be based at the Fetcham splash. Fetcham splash is a calm river place surrounded by woodland, there is a woodland footpath that leads up to the Leatherhead Crem which will be an advantage because it gives off a spooky vibe.

Me and Hannah will be the camera workers of the production and we will be using Chris and Ellen in our video. The typical character costumes I was thinking of was, a typical teenage day to day costume for the innocent character just coming back from a school on their phone talking to a friend about a crush. Also for the bad guy in the production I was thinking the typical dark hooded villan with a hidden face but their chin covered in blood, holding a weapon.

I think the best time to produce the film will be between late afternoon/early night time because I thought it would be affective if the teenager was walking back from school and gets ambushed by the bad character. It will also be affective because it gets quite dark earlier, this will help give off a creepy vibe.

My idea of the plot of the whole thing would be that the teenager has just left a detention after school and is walking home on the phone to a friend talking about their secret crush, the teenager wants to get home because they are going out with a group of friends so they decide to take the short way home. Whilst walking through the woods the villan follows the innocent teenager, teasing them whilst they walk and eventually kills them, they friend on the other side of the phone hears everything. Some of the effective camera shots I think that will work well in this production is point of view, this will make the audience feel like they are involved and are actually there. I also think close-ups will be pretty great to focus on the emotion shared between both characters. I think natural sounding will be best for this production, i.e. crunching leaves as each character walks and the only voice heard in the production is the people in the phonecall. The villan will be silent, making the villan be even more scary.
